Why is it FREE? Isn't it a lot of work?

First, it's free because we love small business. Second, it IS a lot of work, but we've designed a system that allows us to provide an app, and you to help with the content (by keeping your business page up-to-date on bizscrambler.com). We may serve advertising in apps or on our websites in order to help subsidize the costs. In addition, we WILL offer premium services in the future which include things like push notifications. Those things will help us to defray costs. But, the app itself will be free!

Do I personally have to submit the app to the Android or iPhone Market?

No, we'll take care of that for you! You just claim your business on bizscrambler.com and make sure all your information is up-to-date.

How long does it take to be able to search for my app?

The Apple and Android markets have different app approval processes that make the times vary. The Android market usual accepts apps within one business week. The Apple app market takes a little bit longer (two business weeks). These are time estimates for completion and final approval from Apps Over Easy’s build and quality assurance processes.

What can I name my app?

App names must be unique (you'll be able to specify a name after you claim your business profile). The app markets require a unique name that is free of profanity.

Can I change my app once I submit it?

Yes, you will be able to access the content on your app through bizscrambler.com. You can update and drive the content in real-time.

Do I have to have a developer account with Apple or Google?

No, we submit the app for you! Just know that the name Apps Over Easy will appear as the registering company. That will have no effect on the name of your app. We currently do not offer the option to allow customers to use our app builder under individual app developer accounts.

Can I return my app?

Why the heck would you want to? It's FREE! But if you really must, you can request that we un-publish your app.

How many apps can I create?

One for each business or franchise you own! AOE does not limit that amount of apps that one person or business can create. Just remember that each app requires a unique name and is subject to its own approval.

How quickly will my app be available?

AOE general turns apps around for approval to the app stores in 24-48 hours. We do our best to make sure that all apps are being submitted in a timely fashion. As stated above, app approval time vary by app market.

What if I want the same app for Android and iPhone?

No problem, you get both when you activate your app!

Can I have the code for my app so I can work on it myself?

No, we do not offer that as an option.

Is my app guaranteed admittance into the app market?

No, we can not guarantee admission into the app markets. The app markets have the right to refuse app submissions. Any submission that is denied will be fixed free of charge, pending the issue and if it is a error on the behalf of AOE, and resubmitted for review. If after a second review the app is rejected again we share the reasons given by the app marketins and proceed on a case by case basis. *Note the development fee is non-refundable even if the app is denied.
